8D I GOTTA JOB!!!!!!!!

I'M SO FUCKING EXCITED!!!! like, i doubt you even have a clue how hard it was for me not to glomp the guy yesterday when he said i was hired. >w<

IT'S AT BOOKS-A-MILLION!!! i've been wanting to work there since i was 14! i tried to apply at 16, but you have to be 18. so i had to wait TWO MORE YEARS!!

AND NOW I GOTS IT!!! EEEEE~!!!!!

if you need a tip to get the job you REALLY want, and arent just browsin around, takin whatever you can get, then listen in. I'm super glad mom gave me this tidbit. Don't just turn in your application, hoping they'll call you back. Give them a few days to look it over (hopefully), and then call, or better yet, go back to the store and ask if they've reviewed your application. This will show that you're interested. I did this a couple times, and then they scheduled me for an interview. Please dress professionally. I cannot stress this enough. My interview went great. I could tell that he was pretty impressed. Also, don't ramble on, cuz you might end up sayin somethin you'll regret. Just let them ask the questions, and say all that's absolutely necessary. Let them learn that you're weird later after they hire you. XD Then, after that, keep calling or showing up and asking if they've thought it over. I got a background check the day of the interview, turned it in right near the holiday, so it took a while to go through so I went back a few times to check and yesterday, he hired me!!! So when I say this, don't laugh and think it's a joke, cuz it's not. I'm proof. Bug. the crap. out of them. Be polite and inquisitive, but still, SHOW THAT YOU ARE INTERESTED and they will take that in a positive direction. ^w^ Like with me. </LIFE LESSON>
